Dtmf sidetone?

Hi All, I am using a TS-790 with a Kenwood dtmf hand mic....When you press the buttons there is no sidetone from the speaker. I know there is a pot for the cw level, does this also control the dtmf sidetone level please?

There is no dtmf tone from the rig. It's muted when in transmit unless the
mic has a dtmf out feature.
